Developer and Data Engineer
Ondrej handles data engineering for analytical, business intelligence and machine learning purpose. It usually means building microservices for streaming and real-time analytics (stuff like asyncio, Kafka, redis, Pub/Sub, protobuf) and batch processing (PostgreSQL, Python) across Amazon and Google cloud.
Ondrej also teaches Python for Czechitas and gladly shares his technical know-from from FlowerChecker and Plant.id services.

Can the internship be longer / shorter?
The internship should last at least 2 months and can be prolonged.
Can I do the internship remotely?
No, this time the internship will take place in Kiwi.com offices in Brno, Prague or Bratislava, but you can arrange home-office possibility with your mentor any time.
If I pass the internship sucessfully, can I become a full-time employee of Kiwi.com?
How much time in a week should I work?
The internships are based on projects, not hours, but we expect from you min. 20 hours per week.
I have some plans already, will I be able to combine it with the internship?
In case you have already planned something during the time of the internship we will try to adjust your schedule, but please inform us in your application.
